Donations for Tsunami Disaster Relief in Thailand (January 19, 2005)

Bowling Charity (August 2004)

Our first charity bowling had a wonderful turnout. Many people attended and had a great time. We raised $2,433.00. We gave $1,100.00 scholarship to Ms. Nittaya Hinvisate for her 4 years tuition fee at Khon Kaen University in Thailand. We gave $1,333.00 to Mr. Anusorn Chanmooltree for his kidney transplant expenses. Khon Kaen university just notified us that these students will have to attend 5 years of college for their bachelor degree. The Thai Association of Arizona will contribute another $250.00 to cover her last year. We are able to find sponsors for three more students who need financial help at the same University.

Ms. Nantiya Vaungh, President of the Thai Association Arizona and Mr. Phiphat Swangaroon, Vice president of the Thai Association of Arizona, gave $300.00 scholarship to Mr. Sakchai Tonpo for his 1 year tuition fee.

Mr. Soophachai Chantharangsee, President of the charity bowling and an advisor of the Thai Association of Arizona, gave $300.00 scholarship to Mr. Supan Simachan for his 1 year tuition fee.

Ms. Monsiri Jintaswang, a generous Thai lady who always helps the Thai and American community, gave $300.00 scholarship to Mr. Phontree Patisat for his 1 year tuition fee.

We thank all the sponsors and all of you who participated at this event. We'd not be able to make it happened without you help. We hope in the future you will help us again.
